Tribute to Off-White

Harken now for there is a story to tell,
Of Raigho the wolf, legend and all,
For now Death rings his bell,
And the legend must fall.

A day to mourn and a night to howl,
For today a great wolf has died on the prowl.
The wind was strong and the snow deep,
But through it all his spirit did keep.

A strong leader known not to fear,
Through hardship and starvation he persevered,
He suffered it all without a tear,
Rare is the wolf who is more revered.

But through it all his spirit did keep.

A warrior and a fighter to the bitter end,
Who battled with tooth and claw and determination of will,
He leapt and fought until his energy did he spend,
And in the end his blood did spill.

For today a great wolf has died on the prowl.
Gasping and bleeding, his wounds too deep,
But through it all, his spirit could not keep.

I say thee now, mourn him well,
But look now to where he fell,
For hope rekindled and a chance of salvation,
for a God has returned from their damnation.
